Bishop, Dr. Floyd Wayne Smith Sr. is a visionary leader, Kingdom builder, and passionate servant of God whose life reflects the transforming power of grace, purpose, and perseverance. Born in Hempstead, Texas and serving the Houston region for over three decades, Bishop Smith carries a mantle of preaching, teaching, and spiritual fatherhood that ignites identity and awakens destiny in the lives of believers. His ministry is marked by clarity, compassion, and a deep hunger for the presence of God.

A graduate of the Institute for Teaching God’s Word Theological Seminary, Bishop Smith’s spiritual formation was shaped under the mentorship and covering of Drs. Dennis and Clara Brooks. Their leadership played a pivotal role in refining his calling, strengthening his biblical foundation, and preparing him for effective Kingdom service. As a commissioned chaplain, Bishop Smith has served individuals and families in every season of life — from the sanctuary to the community, from crisis moments to celebrations — always with a heart to restore, uplift, and empower.

Today, Bishop, Dr. Floyd Wayne Smith Sr. serves as the Senior Pastor and Founder of Igniting God’s Vision Ministries – Kingdom Family Center. He leads with integrity, excellence, and unwavering faith, alongside his wife and ministry partner, Pastor, Dr. Christine Smith. Together, they are committed to building strong families, equipping disciples, and creating an atmosphere where the Holy Spirit moves freely and lives are transformed. Bishop Smith’s mission is simple: to ignite vision, awaken purpose, and advance the Kingdom of God one soul at a time.

Pastor, Dr. Christine Smith is a woman of grace, strength, and spiritual depth whose life reflects a profound love for God and His people. Born in Wichita Falls, Texas and serving the Houston area for over thirty years, she is known for her nurturing spirit, powerful intercession, and ability to minister healing and encouragement with compassion and clarity. Pastor Christine carries a unique anointing that blends wisdom, warmth, and spiritual authority, making her a pillar within the ministry and a trusted voice to women and families.

Her spiritual development was shaped through her studies at the Institute for Teaching God’s Word Theological Seminary, where she was mentored by Drs. Dennis and Clara Brooks. Their leadership and teaching played a significant role in strengthening her biblical understanding, refining her gifts, and preparing her for effective ministry. Pastor Christine is passionate about helping believers discover their identity in Christ, grow in spiritual maturity, and walk confidently in their God‑given purpose.
